He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. As engineer, he worked at Walt Disney World Company where he learned the importance of providing top-notch customer service to guests and internal clients. Furthermore, Siemens Power Generation recruited him in order to lead energy related projects in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil.
After few years, he participated in the Latin Trade Business Magazine contest by wining the first prize that consisted in a full scholarship for an MBA at a top Latin American business schools, Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. This opportunity gave him the chance to develop his entrepreneurial spirit to a new level. Also, he finished the last trimester of his master degree at COPPEAD/UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro as partnership among world-class business school to create business network.
Upon finishing his master degree, he co-founded Holland Mortars, Ltd. A Venezuelan based engineering firm specialized in high performance industrial floors and semi-rigid continuous pavements. While he was part of this venture, he expanded the company to Colombia and Panama. Also, he led the introduction of the disruptive pavement technology to Venezuela.
Afterwards, Dámaso decided to reactivate his real estate career as a Broker Associate with the creation of his brand, Miami Lux Home, which aims the needs of second home international clients. One of the strategies behind Miami Lux Home is to create an acquisition plan while always considering the exit strategy plan since the beginning. In this way, clients can achieve their financial goals while enjoying the most of their home. Among other services, Miami Lux Home offers are: home away management, short term and long term home rentals, and referring to concierge and transportation services.
